To measure a 5-lug bolt pattern on a trailer, measure the distance from the center of one lug to the outer edge of the lug directly across from it. Alternatively, you can measure the distance between the centers of two adjacent lugs and multiply that measurement by 1.701 to get the bolt circle diameter.
